In-home personal training: (one-on-one and partner training):
Maximize your health, fitness, function and performance. Rebuilding muscle strength, muscle power, bone density, regain function, reduce pain, improve endurance and vitality. Wth a targeted physical activity and exercise plan older adults can offset the degenerative effects of aging. A 3-month health and fitness plan maps out your road to improvements in blood pressure, cholesterol, strength and endurance, and benefits conditons such as osteoarthritis, diabetes and heart disease.
Bone health OsteoBall™ integrated training: OsteoBall exercise offfers the individual with osteoporosis, osteoarthritis or with joint limitations a safe and effective way to increase muscle strength and enhance bone health. This integrated exercise training program is a comprehensice approach to training, reconditioning and may include rehabilitation.
Therapeutic exercise: Exercise in the prevention, management and treatment of chronic medical conditions and illness. We follow health care provider's recommendations and provide a safe and effective training experience to better help you manage and treat disease.
Post-rehabilitation: Integrate physical therapy recommended exercise with exercises following treatment or rehabilitation for clinically documented chronic disease, musculoskeletal injury and/or disability. We work with your physical therapist and/or continue physical therapist recommended exercise in combination with exercise that help you improve overall health and wellness.
In-home senior/geriatric fitness care: We offer a unique way for seniors and those with chronic disease, musculoskeletal injury and/or disability to sustain and extend functional health and independence with exercise. In-home senior/geriatric fitness care visits provide a safe and effective way for recipients to perform exercise necessary to rebuild muscle and regain strength, balance, stability and boost functional living skills. We assist individuals with needed exercise while living independently in the community, adult foster home, independent and assisted living communties. We can carry out instructions of the healthcare provider such as post-rehabilitation while providing support and guidance to the individual.
Health & fitness consulting for successful aging: We perform health, fitness and body weight assessments to recommend health and fitness guidelines for improving health, functional ability or fitness and providing you with a personalized prescripion for health and fitness.
Fall prevention and balance training: Regain essential balance, strength for mobility and fall prevention. Exercises are based on extensive research and proven to provide results and includes muscle strengthening, static and dynamic balance, flexibility and range of motion exercises. We provide additional resources to reduce the risk of falling and fractures, such as a home fall-prevention assessment.
Weight management: A 5 to 10 percent weight loss can dramatically improve your health and quality of life by preventing and better manage chronic disease or illness.
Senior fitness testing: Your current fitness level is a vital sign just like heart rate and blood pressure. The "senior fitness test" shows strengths and weaknesses and provides data for the fitness professional to appropriately design an exercise program that meets fitness and lifestyle goals. The senior fitness test is safe and meets scientific standards for reliability and validity and has performance norms for persons ages 60 to 94.
Berg Balance Scale (BBS): This assessment represents an individual's ability to perform a series of functional tasks that require balance by similating activities likely to encounter in their daily lives. Appropriate for assessing lower-functioning older adults.
Fullerton Advanced Balance Scale(FAB): This test is designed to measure changes in multiple dimemsions of balance in higher functioning independent living older adults.

This EASY screening tool is developed for older individuals, their healthcare providers and exercise professionals to find out if exercise is right for you at this time or if you need to contact your health care provider to provide strategies for tailoring exercise for different health conditions and problems.
